ākamīmo kamiyotēhī means “continue to heal the heart” in Cree.

Calliou Group created a historical website for Makwa Sahgaiehcan First Nation from Treaty 6 Saskatchewan area.

Documenting the true story from a Nation’s perspective is important to us. We worked for an incredible team of professionals from Makwa Sahgaiehcan to capture and represent their history. Every Nation should have an opportunity to take back their narrative.

We conducted 50 interviews from the community members consisting of oral knowledge and personal stories.

36 Videos were created divided between several themes in the “MSFN Historical Timeline”, which also includes historical photos, maps, graphics and quotes from the interviews.
